The Ladies Man

Sorry ladies, but I am married. This was an inopportune shot my wife took of me drinking coffee while we had breakfast at Alki Cafe in Seattle. Baby’s head is just on the left near my elbow.
We love diner-food and going to Seattle’s many diners. Alki Cafe though is our favorite. I like the fact that they serve Morningstar Veggie sausages, which I actually prefer over the real ones. Those with some eggs, toast, and coffee just make the morning.
They’re a little pricey, but they taste real good and are less greasy.
So anyways, just when you thought Doug was a dull, scholastic type, think again!
P.S. My wife uses this picture as the background for her account on our computer…in that version I didn’t edit out Baby’s head. It’s a cute contrast between smiling Baby and The Ladies Man.
Ahhh, Seattle. Sitting around, drinking coffee.
What I really like about the picture is that I can see the famous wedding ring! I felt so bad when it was lost and so happy when you found it!
Ha ha ha, I already forgot about that? I actually forgot to wear it today (washed dishes last night, put it on the kitchen counter). Yeah, losing the ring in the UK, or so I thought, was really agonizing. I am glad I had it in my coat pocket the whole time.
Yeah, we Seattle people don’t do anything else but sit around, blog, and drink coffee. Actually, that’s literally what I am doing right now. :p
Hippies.
This picture is great. Tell your wife to get a lawyer — you’re suing for defamation.
