Ouch! I'd love to know more about yoru experience with the 2, since I plan on trying that this year. Not expecting to pass the first itme, but I want to get a good idea of the difficulty. I will pick up some of the past tests as well, but I foudn that past tests, while very consistent with teh current tests, still don't have the same experience as being under the gun in a classroom. I struggled with 3 more than expected partly due to pressure and such. Funny.

Got a thorough spanking from level 2 this past weekend. There's no doubt that I didn't pass, having already failed 2 practice tests, but the experience alone was worth it, if just to know how to pace myself next year. Picked up a few things along the way as well, such as, close your eyes while doing the listening part, and don't be intimidated by the people speaking fluent Japanese during the break. Everyone learns a new language at a different pace. これからも頑張るぞ！
