I enjoy the Japanese tidbits (so true), your information on Japan and even the philosophic discussions. I would enjoy chatting with you some time and letting you know about the things that we are doing. Please contact me at my email anytime. One of our projects last year was to subtitle the Japanese Movie Kukai with English. This blockbuster movie 1985 is quite amazing. If you send me an address I will send you a copy when I return to Fresno (March 26, 2011). I have followed most of your blog evolutions and enjoyed them through the years. With Respect, Eijun Doug,

When I was in Japan last time I never went to any burger chain as I couldn't find any good vegetarian alternatives. It seems the menus have improved the last few years then. I know your name from your website which I like a lot. I wasn't aware of the vegetarian options, but that's a relief to hear, nor did I know about the Freshness Burger chain. I'll have to check that out next time I got there (probably this summer). Hi guys,

The MOS burger chain is always fresh and tasty. For vegetarians the gobo burger is really excellent and the salads are very fresh. If they come to the US, I doubt that they will have the Japanese menu items. As a vegetarian, I actually prefer the Freshness Burger chain. They have portabello mushroom burgers, bean burgers and tofu burgers. The Portabello are seasonal but worth the wait. If you have not tried them it is worth looking them up.
