The Best Part of Being a Nerd

You can have nerd kids!

This is my daughter, code-named “baby”. She’s trying on Daddy’s glasses, which are now filmy from her fingers on the lenses.* Oh well, parenting is fun.

I await the day when she says, “Daddy, I’ve installed a new Linux host, and want to run a Halo 10 server on there.”

I know I’ll get choked up and say, “that’s my girl!”.

* – My eye doctor told me that hand-soap is bad for glasses because it is abrasive (otherwise how would you get dirt off your skin). Dish soap is ok though because the soap has to be less abrasive for dishes and such.
