Grow up

Yet another funny comic from Xkcd:

I believe I mentioned this in the past, but the Zen priest, Kosho Uchiyama, in his book Opening the Hand of Thought, had talked about how a lot of people live life physically as adults, but their minds are childish, not mature. From what I see day to day and how people react to each other, especially in times of conflict, I believe this to be true.

Or, another way to look at it is that most people live like animals, meeting basic needs, but rarely choosing to take the path to becoming human.

Amusing comic as usual, but food for thought. :-/
