Robert Frost and Buddhism

In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.
I think this is profound because, like the impermanent nature of life, it is neither good nor bad. It is does what it does. It unfolds as it will. It’s important to see this, and just accept things as they are.

Well it’s hard to argue with, and certainly open to interpretation. Is it profound, or are you profound for seeing the profundity that is not apparent to me?

Probably the latter. I am giving it a Buddhist spin I think. I saw this for the first time shortly after I got back to the US, when I was very disoriented, tired and stressed out. Someone had posted it on an electronic billboard near downtown and it really struck me. A person can study a lot of Buddhism but still forget these things when he or she needs it most, as I did. :-/
Or it’s just fair to say I amuse easily.
