Cold and Flu: Know the Difference

Cold and Flu: Know the Difference

I took this photo of a poster at the doctor’s office recently. You can click on it to get a better view. I thought it explained the difference well, and felt it was worth posting. Think of it as a “Japan: Life and Religion” public-service announcement.

Stay healthy everyone and get your vaccines if you can!

As it happens, I just came down with a flu, even while I was vaccinated a couple months ago. I’ve been out of action for the past four days, but am very gradually recovering. It’s also important to remind people that regardless if you have a cold or flu, you shouldn’t ask for antibiotics (a common request, no less). Thanks for the public notice! Keep washing those hands!

Hi Arun, sorry to hear you are sick! Somehow we’ve avoided it here at home so far bur who knows? Thanks for the reminder for washing hands, too.
